Olympic Gold Espresso Inspired Chocolate Ice Cream

To celebrate the Olympics at home, I decided to make a chocolate ice cream with a wonderful hint of espresso flavoring.

I know you're thinking what I'm thinking....Olympians are healthy, heavy cream is not.  But even Olympian fans need to eat right?  Besides think about it, you are making this yourself; no stabilizers or mystery ingredients, so how is this not healthy?  Besides I didn't say eat the whole container of ice cream, even though it would be super delicious.

The only warning about this ice cream or any other of my cream based recipes I could ever post is this: Moderation is key when it comes to using heavy cream or any cream as the primary ingredient in any dish.  "User discretion is advised."

Here's the recipe:

70 grams Bakers Premium Dark Chocolate
30 grams Bakers Unsweetened Chocolate

Melt this in a double boiler.  Once melted blend in the following ingredients in this order:

1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1 tbsp instant coffee grinds
4 cups heavy cream
4 egg yolks
1/2 cup Greek yogurt

Once everything is evenly blended pour your mixture into your 2 quart ice cream maker and blend.

Enjoy!
Nirvana for chocolate lovers world wide!
